Analyze patterns, plan your strategy, and dominate the game where every ending becomes a new beginning.
π How to Play the Last Letter Game
The Rules: Players take turns naming geographical places (cities, countries, continents, etc.) where each new place must start with the last letter of the previous place.
Example Chain: Egypt β Timor-Leste β Ecuador β Rhode Island β Dominica β Albania
No repeats: Once a place is used, it cannot be used again in the same game
You lose if: You cannot name a valid place that starts with the required letter
Strategy: Choose places that end with difficult letters to limit your opponent's options!
π― Understanding the Strategy Ratings
This tool analyzes the letter patterns to help you make strategic choices:
Strategic Letters (Red): Few places start with these letters. Ending your word here limits your opponent's options! (Calculated: less than 3% of places start with this letter)
Defensive Letters (Green): Many places start with these letters. Ending here gives your opponent lots of choices, but they're safe if you're stuck. (Calculated: more than 8% of places start with this letter)
Neutral Letters (Yellow): Balanced - moderate options for continuation (between 3-8% of places start with this letter)
Pro Tip: The best strategy is to force your opponent into strategic letters (red) while you end on defensive letters (green) as backup options.
