How to Play

Welcome to HISTORICLE! In this Wordle knockoff, you get 6 tries to guess a notable date in history.

After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the date.

Example

The correct date is 08/20/1969, the day of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

The number 0 is in the date and in the correct spot.

The number 9 is in the date but in the wrong spot.

The number 8 is not in the date in any spot.

Hints

Feeling stuck? No worries. You can use up to 3 hints to help you guess the correct date:

Season Hint: What time of year the event occurred (July - September).

Event Hint: A hint on what the historic event was (One small step...).

When Hint: If the date is before or after the last submitted date (The correct date is after 09/28/1452).
